Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan; Gary did his undergraduate music education at The University of Michigan. With wife Luanne, he moved ‘out west’ and is now in his twenty-seventh year of teaching and marriage. A Masters in Music Education was earned at The University of Montana and Northwestern University granted a summer fellowship for post graduate study. Currently at Sentinel High School in Missoula, Montana, Gary teaches instrumental and advanced music and plays a little tuba on the side. He has two sons; Kyle 22 and Erin 19.
